Executive Committee:  The Executive Committee will be composed of a total of 18 members : 13 elected positions and 4 non-elected positions.  The structure of the Executive Committee will be as follows:

A.  One Regional Representative from each of six areas of the world will represent the interests of their particular area and will be elected specifically by members who indicate an affiliation with that region.

• Asia
• Africa
• Caribbean 
• North America
• Central/South America                            

B.  One Associate Representative will represent the interests of junior scientists and will be elected specifically by Associate members of the Association.

C.  Other posts that will be elected by the full membership include:

• President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Awards Secretary      
• Education Secretary
• Web Secretary
• Membership Secretary

D.  Non-elected members of the Committee.  If one or more people filling these non-elected positions, also holds an elected position, the size of the Exec. Committee will be reduced accordingly.
